Its just like the "teenieboppers" at the Linkin Park board.. I mean, come on, it gets old seeing "Person X is so hot" when there's a million other treads of the same.. I usually post at the Barracks that that board.. You can actually get inteligent convos going on.. I'm hopeing this FDG grows to the point of have alot more great convos.. On the warm funny fuzzy feeling, i try to do a good deed for someone a day.. Hold the door open for someone or something thats nice.. No matter how bad i feel, i try.. But, LET IT SNOW.. (Don't ask where that came from)

Yeah. I know what you mean. At the Official XF site we have tons of people saying so and so is hot. I may joke about certain people being hot and I may mean it, but I'm not gonna go and start a thread all about it. In the X-File Fandom I'm what you call a Fencer, so I stay away from things like that. It's rare to find an intelligent discussion, but when I do, man do I love it. And I try to do nice things for people there too.

I know what you mean by pretty much haveing a field day when you find a good convo.. i'm the same way.. But finding one at times is the hard part.. Looks like some others have joined the board.. That kicks!!

[glow=purple,2,300]Yep. Good convos are the essence of life. Without them we are nothing but monkeys...which I prefer not being. I can't stand people who bring up points of no merit, are incapable of spelling(which is not a bad thing unless it looks like this: u R so stoopid cuz i SAY so) I HATE that. Or the people who post in ALL CAPS. What is WITH those people? Hopefully some of the new members will get talking soon.[/glow]

You and me both hope the new members start posting **hint hint**.. I also agree about the "short hand" people use that makes ZERO sense.. All caps sucks.. I'v seen someone use a "short hand" for a whole post.. It gets alot of what's, huh's, and what did you just say's.. Its funny.. People do need to consider that others do want to read post.. Let the convo's build hun.. We are starting it.. Looks like..

[glow=purple,2,300]Cool, cool. I like talking. Have you noticed that one by now?? Hopefully soon we'll get more people talking. You think short hand is bad, you should see Rabid Speak. It's a part of the XF board and a lot of us make fun of it. It's in the Shippers(Relationshippers who want Mulder and Scully together. Mostly adolescent girls) mostly the ones who speak in Rabid. It's funny. I actually enjoy making fun of it but it makes you dumb, sorta like listening to N'sync(which I did for creative reasons). [/glow]

N'Sync and creative in the same sentence?? Are you on any medication?? lol.. Warning!! Warning!! Brainwashing is in effect.. No N'Sync or any band like that..lol.. They should have a Warning Label on those cds.. "Listening to this cd/tape may cause damage to your brain.. Others listening to this cd/tape may cause them turn on you and beat you to a bloody pulp.. Thank you and have a nice day".. I can dream.. Talking is good.. I no complain

[glow=purple,2,300]Yep. N'sync. It's why Rabids exist. I was using it to make fun of someone in my story. I needed the words so I *hangs head shamefully* downloaded Tearing Up My Heart. I almost went numb. Good thing I had good music on the harddrive ready to play. I admit it, it was fun making those song lyrics into drunken ones. It was my justice for listening to the damn song. I also admit freely to being a NIN fan, so it was the closest thing in my CD player at the time so I grabbed it. I can't WAIT for the new Filter CD though. It'll happen soon..right?[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]The new release is awesome. Yeah, Things Falling Apart is sorta funny. It's a bunch of strange noises with Starfuckers on there about sixty times or that's what I think. And All That Could Have Been kills that junk. It's well done and very moving. It'll hopefully tide me over until we get new Filter. Gotta love 'em both, I say. Well, at least I do.[/glow]

Nothing wrong with likeing both bands.. I ain't even heard much of The Fragile or the new one.. I hope FILTERED finds out some more info.. Maybe they may drop him some samples.. I hope..

[glow=purple,2,300]The Fragile is awesome. Having canvassed both fan bases, the NIN fans seem to be the most grumpy when the subject of Filter/Rich is brought up. They tend to think that there is something wrong with you if you like both. Don't look at me, I started with Filter. I don't get it anymore than you do. Some people just need a freaking chill pill.[/glow]

I started with Filter also.. Then started listening to NIN.. It would have been cool to see Fitler/NIN do the colab. album.. That might of turned something out new, and diff.. I'v been in a chat room, people would go postal when someone is talking about NIN and Richard Patrick or Filter was mentioned.. Its always, "RP has got to be some dumb to leave one of the biggest bands in the world.." I'm thinking, why?? Hopefully Reznor and Patrick will put the past to rest and maybe do an album together..

[glow=purple,2,300]Have you heard of Tapeworm? I've done tons of research on this relationship since it's a big part of the story. Tapeworm is a separate project Trent is supposed to be working on the side from NIN that Richie has expressed interest in working on. It sorta fizzled in the past couple years as both are terribly busy, but who knows. As far as I'm concerned, the only ones carrying on the whole fued is the fans of NIN and Filter who won't let it go. Mostly your NIN fan community where as a majority of the Filter community is fairly indifferent or listens to NIN as well. Ask me more about it and I can go on and on about it.[/glow]

Yeap, i'v heard of Tapeworm.. I heard the same, it got shot cause of each other was busy.. I agree withyou on where it is the fans who are keeping the NIN vs. Filter thing alive.. Maybe in time, it will all fade away..
