...too bad it wont be coming fast enough! -Boston Not to sound cliche', but Rome was not built in a day. Great works of art can't be rushed. So as far as I am concerned, take you time Rich.

Wow I got some really great responses. Time to catch up on things. I no doubt think, and hope as well, that the rest of the guys will Filterize the album and that Rich will utilize there talent to make a strong 4th album. And I didn’t mean to come across as trying to make a Filter/U2 Rich/Bono matching, but rather trying only to use as an example. What I wanted to say was I hope that Rich continues to use the same philosophy as bands like U2. Touchedbyamangel pointed out that a band is owned and lead more or less by one person. And it is true. Billy Gibbons is ZZ Top, Dave Grohl is Foo Fighters and so forth. That definitely helped clear the issue up for me. One thing you pointed out that I am not clear on is to what happened with So I Quit? As well, I never meant to slam Amalgamut. It really rocks, although the last couple songs didn’t do a whole lot for me. But overall it was great. However I still prefer Title Of Record. Just a wee bit. And to Richie, hope I didn’t step on your toes. I’m just a loyal Filter fan who really wants you and the boys to make a great album. I just remembered you talking about Filter being a true “band” like U2 on Much Music in July of last year. So your comments on the Filter site just kinda surprised me because it seemed like you may have changed your ideology. So I can’t wait hear more about the album and for it to hit the shelves and airwaves.

I only know what I like when it comes to music, but I don't know how to make it. So, I'll continue to place my trust in Rich. I'm sure he knows what he's doing, given his level of experience, talent, and expertise.

correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't geno write songs like capt bligh, tis gonna kill me and best things?
as far as i know, geno wrote them, and then brought them in and worked on them with rich...
aren't these the best songs u've ever heard??
don't get me wrong...i luv richie also, but to say that filter will be the same without geno is just wrong!
