I have looked for Title of DVD at 8 different places around Atlanta and none of them have it. So I ordered it and got it this past Sunday. I like it a lot. In fact I love it-should be me favorite DVD for a long time. It was only 14.99.
Question.1.The ending of the Welcome to the Fold video did not kick ass as much as the rest. The cube they are playing in exploded so are they all dead now or in another dimension? Comment.2.It really kicks ass when they start playing the hidden track after Miss Blue and all the different elements of the cover of Title of Record come together into the base background colors. Like that thing that is the rewind symbol on a cd player or I guess a bullet or a rocket or a train or a space ship with a force field in front of it. Comment.3.Its ragin on the Stuck In Here live version. They turned the second most mellow song into like the hardest one. Comment.4.Until I got this I had only seen the music video for Dose on a web site where the video didn't stream very good. It was dope. I want that van! Comment.5.Under live was real cool. Comment.6.The Buck Thirty Five interview of Patrick is Hilarious. "Don't ever ask "Hey could you put out that fuckin cigarette. Don't every fuckin do that to me man. Cause 135 pounds of raging fury will come at you... (Laughing)" or something to that effect. Comment.6.Jurrassitol is the music video I watched the most. There is actually some nudity in it if you watch real close towards the end. But my favorite part is when this old guy comes running out of a toilet with a brief case and smashes through a plate of glass! It is followed by the second coolest interview with Patrick when he shows all the guitars including Brian Liesegang's guitar, which was not nearly as interesting as Brian's equipment for recording and playing sound samples. Comment.7.The last chapter Hey Man Nice Shot live was real cool where they played the section of the song Hey Man Nice Shot where Patrick is yelling "A Man Has Gun" and so on with out the voice over and over and over again. Question.8.For anyone who has already seen the DVD-Is the guy for sure Brian Liesegang with his head recduced to a rube cube with tape editing. Final Comment 9.My friend watched it with me and he was saying the drumming wasn't cool until he saw Jurrasitol.

Question.8.For anyone who has already seen the DVD-Is the guy for sure Brian Liesegang with his head recduced to a rube cube with tape editing. Are you asking how that effect is done? Reasonably easily in something like Adobe After Effects. Personally speaking, I'd have two layers of the same footage masked out so one layer displays only the LHS (Brian) portion of the clip, the other the RHS (Rich). I'd then manipulate the LHS clip accordingly even and render the whole lot out as one single piece of "footage"... (That's a simplified explanation...!!)

Alright Mergem, glad to hear your diggin' Title of DVD, but I must comment on your comment # 9 (your friend's comment).
How can your friend say the drumming was not cool? I think the drumming on the live videos, performed by Matt Walker, is some of the coolest shit I have ever heard by a drummer. That man rocks the shit out of his drum kit. His style of using the hell out of his symbols kicks ass!
And Steve Gillis certainly rocks just as hard in his own style!

Hey B13 thanx for the info on the Brian's distorted and shrunk head thing. I wasn't asking how its done-just if it was indeed Brian's.
FilterRob-Oh I totally agree Matt Walker kicks ass! I was ridiculing my friend who was trying to criticize the DVD and when he saw Jurassitol he admitted he is a good drummer.

...What a tease! I am still waiting on the arrival of my Title of DVD to arrive from the states... But thanks for the brief preview 'cause it only makes the waiting seem more worth it... LJC

Mergem -
Glad we agree. The live cuts on Title of DVD are some of my favorite cuts ever - I've actually had security come to my humble Southern California apartment twice because I had that shit pumped up so loud that the neighbors complained. I'll crank it up, set up my guitar, amp, and microphone and jam along with it. My neighbors love me, but they can only take so much....
Turn it up!

Miss Blue-you will love this DVD, I hope the anticipation of getting it is not as bad as mine was for the album "Title of Record", which you seem to like a lot.
FilterROB-My neighbors have never told me to turn down the music and I blast it all night and pace to it-they sure sleep hard I guess.

Boston's opinion on question #1: Hmm i agree that the ending got a "huh?!?" reaction out of me....but i think it was just that...AN ENDING,...they prolly just wanted to end it with a bang or didnt know how the hell to end it at all! You'd think that if they were gonna give it the effect of "disappearing into another dimension" it would do something a little more creative rather than explode, right? Boston's opinion on question #2: Yeah,...that was an OK effect,...but i've seen better As for the "rewind symbol" or other things you said the Filter logo looks like,...umm,...i dunno,..kinda reminds me of the psych test....the ink blot tests....everyone sees something different i guess. Boston's opinion on question #3: I agree. I actually hooked my DVD player to my computer and ripped it to an MP3,..FOR MY OWN PERSONAL USE (so no yellin at me, ok Rich?)! Boston's opinion on question #4: umm,..did u just say "dope".....?? Boston's opinion on question #5: I agree. Boston's opinion on question #6: Yeah, well,...i love Rich,...i think everyone in here does....and people who smoke, well, its their choice and i aint ever gonna tell someone to put theirs out, but...well,...look at Rich's teeth when he gets close to the camera....thats what smokin does to yer chops. Love yah Rich, man! Boston's opinion on question #6: Heh...the Shiney Monkey Theory guitar clip was cool,....too bad the truth about his playing back then was exposed. Boston's opinion on question #7: Once again, i agree....so cool that i ripped it to MP3 ...FOR MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION!! NEVER SHARED, NEVER SOLD, ETC ETC ETC. (C.Y.A. ,baby! Cover Your Ass!!) Boston's opinion on question #8: Yes, thats Brian. Anyone on the board can tell you about the "falling out" he had with Rich, how he was booted from the band, the circumstances surrounding why he left, and how things are cool now between them,..but maybe things were stil bitter when the DVD was edited....but if you buy "Phenomenology" on VHS then you see the unedited interviews. I personally laughed at him when he couldnt light his cigarette. I guess he just reminds me of some of my ex-friends that have stabbed me in the back. But i digress. Boston's opinion on question #9: Why did your friend have to SEE IT before he thought it was cool? I love the bass drum action in that tune. -Boston
