While I’m on my three month’s contract with Sky, I’ve gotta keep all my other clients happy, so I’ve made myself available to work evenings and weekends. Little did I know that they’d all POUNCE!!!

My – thankfully HUGE – bedroom/office/music room has become a mobile edit suite… I get out of bed this morning, trundle across the room, stub my toe on a flightcase and decided the situation is SO ridiculous, I had to share!! ;D

I’m running After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator on my PC, the PowerBook has Final Cut Pro and Pro Tools and is doubling up as a keyboard “beermat” for the PC!) R2 D2 is on guard on the LaCie, the PocketPC is rigged up for email retrieval (and… er... more importantly games for when stuff is rendering – I’m up to 25 animations and counting…)

The VHS and DVCAM machines (on the flightcase) are for dubbing (as is the mini monitor) and the camera itself is around SOMEWHERE….. I lost the director some time last night and he hasn’t been seen since…<br>

I was last seen hiding under the bed… ;D Hee hee hee!!!

Going That Extra Mile is what keeps us poor little freelancers in constant work! Hee hee hee!!


(My director is GREAT! He always gives me the storyboard WELL in advance and when we DO start work, he invariably nods off, wakes up on cue to check stuff and then goes into a conversation about his American car collection!!! He's one of my FAVE clients!)
