So--I've been doing this that hard way...and I'm not satisfied with the results...
Is there a particular program that is MOST EXCELLENT for making screen captures--right now I'm dealing with footage of live news coverage of a couple of events...I need some crisp, clear shots. Prefer not to have to do so much tinkering in Photoshop...
Just thought maybe someone knew a better way. *sigh

Hmmmm.. In my line of work the only way I can think of to get screen caps REALLY easily is exporting a still frame from a video edit timeline.... Then - as you said - taking it into Photoshop - and de-interlacing the fields, yadde, yadda, yadda... What software are you using at the moment to capture the frames with from the footage?
