...Hey guys!... This topic is about as far from Filter or Music as you could get - but I figure that this is the best place to come for international help... (By the way this is Miss Blue - I've changed my name)... ...It's a school problem... I need a little help with one of my assignments and I was wondering if those of you who speak other languages or more than one language would be able to help me out... I need proverbs or wise sayings from other languages and what they mean... Anything would be great - like an example would be: "nedoifnh idoqjoij niojsqs" "What goes around comes around" - in jibberish... ...Thanks heaps... LJC

okay in japaneese Do- zo (rhymes with so but z sound) Wata-kushi Knee Tabako(i am sure you can figure out how to pronounce this) -O-( i am sure you know the letter o followed by p in the english alphabet) (i can make a bad joke here but won't)
Koo (rhymes with zoo) duh (i am sure you can say this too) sigh.
in that order it means please give me a ciggarett. now i haven't been able to ask anyone if it does just like i can't find anyone who can confirm the japaneese kanji for the word love and peace but hey if you can find out if it is really what it means great other than that i still think its cool to say to someone cause they don't know what the hell it means so you can b.s. them oh well i guess the only other things are
carpe diem- sieze the day

Ok... I last spoke Afrikaans back in 1986, but here goes!!
*clears throat*
;D
1. "Jy is so laag soos die skaduwee van slang kak."
(You are as low as the shadow of snake shit)
2.Hey broer, I skeem hierdie oke is 'n mullet on 'n mal pluck, ek se!
(Hey brother/dude, I think this dude is a crazy son-of-a-bitch on a very weird mission, I tell you what!)
...
(And bearing in mind 99.9% of South Africans are bi/multi-lingual, here's a CRACKING English one:
3. "Are you talking to me or chewing a brick? Either way your face will be messed up."
LMAO!!!)
...
Oh.. I guess you wanted CLEAN ones....
DAMN!!!! ;D
