Ever gone and done something stoopid? Back Story: I've lost about half my bodywieght due to careful dieting, gentle exercise, etc.. Anyway, as we girlies all know rather too well, we've all got wobbly bits and bobs we'd all like to shed, right? Well, I'm now at my target weight and need to tone up a smidgen... So I've engaged the services of a "personal trainer" at the gym... Stupid, stupid, STUPID ME!!!!! ... He wants to teach me BOXING!!??!! Which means this: ... and this: ...and I'm hoping NONE of THIS!! (I LIKE my nose...): ... tho' hopefully none of this...: EeeeeEEEEeeeeek!!! *bleats* I've got the co-ordination of a drunken fruit fly and the muscle tone of a JELLYFISH!!!! I'm gonna DIE!!!! So if I come across all groggy in my posts next Wednesday morning, you can take it that the night before involved me getting my lights punched out by some beefy South African dude... HELP!!!!

Kickboxing is GREAT! I was in the BEST shape of my LIFE when I was kickboxing about three times a week. I don't do it that often anymore...I have to switch up my workout because I get bored...but it's great! And it works EVERY part of your body...you'll be AMAZED.

Thanx Imbue . . . An Linda your so right its the best feeling in the world. What I did was every time I was going to splurge and buy some random crap (of the food variety) I put that money away. When I hit my goal weight I threw out all my clothes and used the money to buy a whole new wardrobe. hehe before I did I tryed them on for the last time. It was so weird to wrap something (that was tight on me at one point) around my waist twice. When I look at the few pics (that I diden't burn ;D) of that time its like looking at another person. Don't get me wrong, I'm still the same inside as I was back then but now they match my outside. <-- to all my sisters (and bros) trying to get healthy

...I'm still the same inside as I was back then but now they match my outside. You've just said what I've been trying to put into words for AGES!!! I'm of the belief that it doesn't matter WHAT a person looks like, it's how they feel INSIDE that counts (regardless of the tabloids/glossy silly women's mags telling us - that we should all have 8 inch waists and look like a starving twiglet with lipgloss) so YAY! Thank you, I've been trying to explani that one for years!!

Every time I start to think like that . . . you know "why can't I look like that?" I just remind myself that the average waste size for women is a 16 (don't know if it'd be the same over in the UK) and I'm a size 10 so I'm skinner than average. It allways makes me feel better . . . Well that and the fact that I could break those twiggy women in half . . . ;D
