We had the chance to be the in-houseband yesterday on the local morning show on Portland's best radio station KNRK. It was so much fun.. we played live and they played "belief" from our cd. They interviewed us too which was cool.
When they found out I was Filter's webmaster the interview took a shift to talking about recent filter events, it was funny.. i explained the Fred Durst thing and the Poo thing, it's so crazy how people latch on to those Rich Words segments... they were all like "we should start calling him Richard Pootrick" haha it was awesome. They also discussed how a Rich/Fred fight would turn out, and of course they realized Rich would kick his ass in a second... the station are big fans of Filter and play them all the time... it was way fun being on the radio tho, we had a blast. And they really liked our stuff
If anyone gets bored, it would help us A TON if you could call this toll-free phone number and just request Dualesc's "belief". I know you probably won't be able to hear it, but it'll take a ton of phone requests for them to actually play the song - so your help would be greatly apperciated!
It's the best radio station in Portland and if we can get our stuff played on there it could definetly do good things for us
Thanks guys!

LMAO Richard Pootrick. Thats funny!
Thats great about getting air play. I really hope that you can get a record contract and get your band known here in Australia. I can brag about how I knew Dualesc when they were underground! Its very rare to do that....
But about Richard kicking Freds ass.... common, we have to face facts here. Fred would win! All he would have to do would be to sit his fat ass on skinny Richard! It would be like getting sucked into a black hole! You know you cant escape a force like that!!
But it would never happen. We all know that Fred is all talk and no action. He is the biggest bullshiter in the world, so he would never actually fight Richard!

Hey Hubka!!
I totally missed this thread when it went up originally. Oh well. I found it NOW. Hmm, I'll try to toss some phone requests in for ya. It'll do us both some good.
And Rychus,
LMFAO!!! Poor Rich!! He doesn't need to get sat on. Ouch!! Ewww.
Richard Pootrick?? Hmm. ..I like.

hmm who WOULD win in a fight between Rich and Fred?
I'd have to say that Fred's GIRTH would be an advantage, but Rich obviously has more CUNNING. So I think it'd be a good fight to watch... as long as they didnt' go for the face. Remember that picture from when Rich fell on his face on the ice? Need I say more?
Hub, is there a website for the radio station that we could FLOOD with email requests? Cause I'll try my best with the 1-800 number, but sometimes calling a US 1800 number from Canada doesn't work. Depends on the zero digit, so I've heard.... weird.

Hey guys thanks for the support! The DJ said the phone requests help the most, but there's also an "e-quest" thing they have... you just gotta make sure to put a local city in there for the city (or nothing at all). Here's the link and a few cities you could put if you want to put one at all 947nrk.com/station_pages/request.jhtmlPortland, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Tualatin, Tigard That should be enough cities.. but yeah if you want to flood that link with requests that would be awesome! The phone requests help a ton also tho.. it's gonna take a shit load of requests to get the stuff played, so we thank you for the support! If we can break into this station's playlist it could be the foot in the door that we need, it's Oregon's best station (Art from Everclear is one of the DJ's on the station too). The DJ's said they liked our stuff when we did the interview, so they're aware that we exist, all we need are the phone/email requests! I'm going to work on getting the on-air interview posted on the site as soon as I get the copy from the station. It's about 5 minutes long.. good stuff thanks again for the support everyone!!!

Hey thanks for requesting it! Yeah we won't even be able to hear it either until we get tons of requests.. so that's why those help so much, it'll take a ton of those damn requests to break into the play list, and yeah the phone requests help the most.
I actually didn't get an instant message? do you still have a copy of it that you could repost/remail or whatever the terminology would be?

HUB! I actually caught you online this time!
I'll try to remember to request by phone tomorrow... after all, I'm working a 8 hour shift, so perhaps it would be a good way to pass the time...
The only thing I instant messaged you about was that I'm going to NYC next weekend, and I was wondering if your CD would be available in any big chain stores... if I'm going all the way there (I'm near Toronto), I may as well check it out and try to get a copy.

oh right on, that would rock if you wanted to just flood the station with requests! ;D that's the type of stuff it'll take to get the shite played, so that would help big time... think of it like a domino theory, if we can topple the playlist of this station, hopefully other stations will catch on, or maybe we could get picked up by a major label and tour and stuff... oh the possibilities! i'm not sure what the distro is like in NY.. seeing as how we're all the way over in oregun... the cd isn't in big chain stores out here so i don't know if it'd be in them over there (you could do us a favor and tell them to stock the cd tho! ). The weird thing, is that a lot of the big chain stores carry the cd on their online stores (wherehouse music, sam goody, best buy, fye, etc). You can check out the links to our cds on those stores at this link: www.dualesc.com/merchant.htmAlmost all of those online stores do credit cards, money orders, personal checks etc, and i'm almost positive they do international orders as well. thank you again for the support, i'll let you know once i get the radio dualesc/filter interview posted, it was good stuff! take care the abominable hubman

Hey Hub!
I called that 900...er...I mean 800 number twice last week and I just called again this morning from work and the lady that answered the phone said that everyone at the station loves you guys and that they're getting lots of requests for you!!! ;D She also said that they wouldn't be able to play you today but I should call back later this week earlier in the morning. HUH? I'm in Chicago and it was 10:45 am when I called so it was like 8:45 am there?
But good luck, Hub!! Let me know when you hear yourself!!

oh right on, that would rock if you wanted to just flood the station with requests! ;D that's the type of stuff it'll take to get the shite played, so that would help big time... Hmm, well, I called just now and they aren't answering teh line, so I'll keep doing the internet requestthing for the time being, but I'll keep trying! Yeah no problem. I'd planned on going into the big music stores anyway, so I may as well bug them about it. But if I can't find it in the store, when I get my cred. card, I'll be sure to get it online Anyway, talk to you later. I'll keep trying hte 1-800 number, maybe they're just pissed off because we keep calling! Later Cynic

haha SWEET! That is so cool you guys, thank you SO much for doing that stuff... seriously, you don't know how much those little phone calls mean to us... i know you won't be able to hear it, we won't even be able to hear it either, so those calls mean so much!
That's the best station in portland, if we can get airtime there maybe we can spread! That rocks that they told you they liked us too! The people who interviewed us (and would know us the best) are on mondays-fridays from 6-9am pacific time, they're cool.
Thanks again for the awesome support everyone, it is helping soooo much!

Damn, Hub! Your radio station must be really popular, I've called at least 5 times in the past 40 minutes and I've gotten a busy signal each time... so in the mean time I'm just doing the internet request thing.
