Ok,..so i got the Phenomenology tape today,..immediately drove home (i mean FAST! thank God no cops out!). I need a lil help with a few things.
The guys said they were ready to start the project but needed the record deal first....was it a pain in the ass? Or did reprise come jumpin at them after the demo?
In that last lil concert at the end of the tape in New Mexico, why did Rich go ape shit (i am guessing its cuz the mic kept goin in and out) and then the whole band played all feedback.
and lastly, who was that band that was backstage that was singing, "we love you filter, oh yes we do"?

Well, I can shed a *little* light on the first question: if my sources are correct, the inital demo was only sent to four labels to begin with, so I imagine that they were labels that had already shown some interest in the project..

Was that really a band - I just thought they were roadies or (hehe) male groupies.
I absolutely love when Rich wipes Geno's arm down - shows what a good guy he is.

Ana, don't do this to me... Rich does this, Geno does that...and I don't know what the hell you're talking about!

Ana, don't do this to me... Rich does this, Geno does that...and I don't know what the hell you're talking about! badass (*lol* are you really a badass?), regarding Phenomenology - after the credits, there’s some bonus footage showing the guys jamming at the conclusion of a concert. Someone from the audience throws a bottle full of water at Geno and it hits him in the head. He’s understandably really pissed and tries to point out the culprit in the audience...some words are exchanged and he “goes ape” (love that expression) and just jumps off the stage right into the audience! (my problem with that is the way he jumps - he could’ve landed on someone’s head and broken their neck ) After the guys go backstage and into their little dressing room area, some fans sing “we love you filter, oh yes we do, we love you filter, it’s true!” and then Geno and the boys discuss the “incident”. Rich also wipes off some blood off of Geno’s arm with a towel (such a tender moment )

aawwwww......true friendship, eh? ' Here, let me wipe some blood off you buddy! Shall I blow your nose too? ' Sounds cool...sorta...I would like to see it all...I have to check if it's released in Europe as well... Thanks Ana! As for my name...hehehe...well, when I thought of it some time ago I sure as hell was a badassrockchick... I had just taken a fall from my bike and had the biggest deep purple(!) bruise on my...um...ass... Other than that, I just thought it sounded kinda cool, you know!

Hi badass! If you find a European release of Phenom, would you let me know please? I've looked everywhere and so far, I've had no luck. I wanna see it too. So that's why you're badass, LOL. ;D Priceless! (sorry) Hope you're better now.

ok, lets get our facts straight here folks....the concert was in new mexico, thus, new mexico kinda sucks. it was ice that hit geno, not a bottle or water. as for geno's "leap of faith"...i rate it a 10.0 out of a possible 10.0. it was a perfect dive into the audiance, and i woulda liked to seen the culprit kicked out. Geno and Steve fucking rule! you have a problem with it? e-mail me!!!

Thanks for letting me know badass. I think the only option is to buy a DVD player that can play American DVDs. I need a new one anyway.

The first time I saw Phenomenology, I totally missed that last part, because I honestly thought that the tape was finished after the end credits. So, being kind, I rewind. And, being a Filter fan, I rewatch the tape, lazily wait for the "snow effect", then jump out of my seat, when I realize there's more tape to be watched! Me, shocked! An angry Geno is a sexy Geno, and although I give his leap a perfect ten, I'm glad nobody got hurt. I love Rich's words: "Music in the face of adversity" and "Another satisfied customer". You got that right! Cheers.

i can only add a little to the first question in that Richard did not want to trade on the Nails so the demo was all anonymous.
